Oceanic rainfall stopped play... the Pacific and A Oceanic rainfall stopped play... the Pacific and Atlantic oceans disregard Panama being the small bridge between them and sometimes their combined rains come together right on top of it.

Our planned route included around 20 river crossings, but with some incredible rainfall over the previous couple of days the rivers were raging and far too unsafe to attempt so we took an alternative but still very enjoyable route to see the rainforest that Project Jungle aims to buy and protect.

One more time unpacking and repacking ahead of heading to Panama again because once in the jungle, there's no chance to nip to a shop to buy that one thing you forgot. It's nearly go time!

Job done! Phew! 😀🙏🏼🫠 What a fantastic Job done! Phew! 😀🙏🏼🫠
What a fantastic event @greateasternrun was, with around 6,000 runners and thousands more lining the streets to cheer everyone on, it was great to be part of it again. Huge thanks to everyone cheering from the sidelines.

It was a fairly unknown outcome for us both having only registered and start training last week having run less than 50 miles in the past year, I'd have been happy enough with sub-2-hours but it went a bit better than expected, I think the atmosphere and crowds carried us on a high. Great to see many familiar faces along the way too! 🥰

The last 4-5 miles were quite a struggle but I managed to hold on for a 1hr 44min finish, with Sarah cruising comfortably across the line for a satisfying 2h 19m time with a big smile and a nice shiny medal. It's testament to the idea that if you stay ready you don't have to get ready, no running training for a couple of years, but scampering around obstacles for a living at @forestadventurecentre has given us a good base-level fitness to step up for bigger challenges.

We pushed outside of our comfort zones, took experienced the joy of one of Peterborough's greatest community events, and raised a few funds for the incredible @annas.hope supporting children suffering and recovering from brain cancer.

Not a bad Sunday!
Thank you to everyone who donated a few pounds to the pot. 🙏🏼❤️

This nine-day jungle-crossing of Panama from Coast to Coast was a beautiful beast of a trek!

I'll be going back to Panama soon for another crossing, following the footsteps of Bucaneer Sir Henry (Captain) Morgan, it's going to be a great adventure!

Just another day in the office. Since launching @ Just another day in the office.

Since launching @forestfacilityadventurecentre in the summer of 23, I rarely have two days the same, be it the essential and less exciting admin and marketing tasks, to managing corporate events running our 4km assault course, axe throwing, and ziplining or 200 kids on a school trip packed with activities, it's always a brilliant adventure and amazing to be outside staying active.

I used to sit at a desk all week long, a car accident and rehab led me into running, then ultramarathons and world-first adventures, and now I get to help others step foot into their own adventures.

This is why I love how much this venture has exploded, as we get to see thousands of visitors come to us for a brilliant day to remember, we're part of someone's special day, every day!

Peterborough Open Awards Centre CIC - Motivational Speaker

My Image

Motivation and inspiration are key elements in encouraging young people to strive beyond their limiting beliefs. As a guest speaker on our National Citizen Service courses; the group listened attentively as he talked them through his various exploits as an extreme adventurer and charity fundraiser. His stories of completing the Marathon Des Sables and spending a week challenging alongside Sir Ranulph Fiennes as he became the oldest UK citizen to complete the challenge held his audience spellbound. A true motivational speaker.
